Visibility of the peaks and troughs​

Make sure the peaks and troughs of the volume are clear and easily distinguishable for professionals to recognize patterns in the sound

Don't - peaks and troughs


Avoid displaying volume with blurry or indistinct peaks and troughs, which can make it difficult for professionals to recognize sound patterns

Whitespace between the waves​

Create enough spacing between recording waves signaling pauses between words

Don’t allow the audio to become a continuous wave as it doesn’t communicate pauses while talking

Applying color​

Do - applying color


Color match the volume over time with the timer and delete option for visual balance

Try to avoid using too many different colors within the recording container
